What are DERFA stoves?

DEFRA (Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) exempt stoves are stoves that are cleared to burn specialised fuels in smoke control areas, fuels that would normally be disallowed. Many of our new ranges, such as our Cleanburn range of stoves, are designed and fitted with technology that means wood can be legally burnt within a smoke control area. King's Lynn, Norfolk has some smoke control areas.
